How does breast asymmetry correction work?

Breast asymmetry correction is an individually planned procedure that requires a precise analysis of body shape and proportions.

Before the operation, the surgeon performs a detailed examination and assesses the difference between the breasts, the position of the nipples, and the quality of the skin. Based on the examination, they prepare a surgical plan aimed at achieving the most balanced possible appearance of the breasts.

Depending on the type of asymmetry, the procedure may include breast augmentation with an implant, reduction of a larger breast, lifting of a sagging breast, or a combination of different techniques. In certain patients, their own fatty tissue is also used for additional shaping.

What methods are most commonly used?

  • Breast augmentation with silicone implants
  • breast augmentation or reduction

The procedure is usually performed under general anesthesia, and recovery depends on the extent of the surgery. Most patients return to light daily activities within one week.

What is important after surgery?

  • wearing a compression bra
  • follow instructions regarding physical activity

Modern surgical techniques enable very natural results and long-term improvement in body symmetry and self-confidence.
