The goal of the procedure is to activate the natural skin regeneration processes and improve its structure.
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is a method in which we use the patient's own blood plasma, enriched with platelets and growth factors. We draw 10-20 milliliters of venous blood from a vein in the arm, and then, through special processing and centrifugation, we obtain a concentration of growth factors in platelet-rich plasma. We then inject the preparation in small amounts with a very fine needle into selected areas of the face and neck, the back of the hands, or the scalp. We can also use the microneedling technique.
It is often recommended to repeat the procedure 1-3 times in the first three months. However, the best results can be achieved by combining PRP use with laser rejuvenation, the use of fillers and botulinum toxin, and medical cosmetics.
The key advantage of PRP therapy is that it is an entirely natural method, without foreign substances, with minimal risk of allergic reactions. For optimal results, the therapy is often performed in a series and can be combined with other aesthetic procedures (laser, fillers, Botox).
Before the procedure, we hold a consultation where:
Special preparation is usually not required.
These effects usually subside within a few hours to a few days.
