The segmentation is particularly meaningful:

  • For children before starting school (due to psychological effects)
  • For adults who want a more balanced facial appearance
  • When the ears are further from the head
  • With irregular ear or wattles shape or size
Otoplasty is suitable for children and adults who are bothered by the shape or position of their ears. Most often, protruding ears are corrected, or asymmetry is corrected.
This is a procedure that often significantly impacts an individual's self-confidence. Despite being a relatively small change, ear correction can have an extremely positive psychological effect.

Procedure Description

Ear correction (otoplasty) is a surgical procedure used to reshape the cartilage of the ear and improve its position and symmetry. At Juventina, the procedure is performed using advanced techniques that allow for:

  • of course ear shape
  • minimal visible scars (hidden behind the ear)
  • long-term result

The surgeon accesses the cartilage through a discreet incision behind the ear, reshaping it precisely and fixing it in a new position with hidden sutures.

Our approach is based on:

  • Individual facial analysis
  • creating symmetry and a natural look
  • minimal invasiveness

Modern otoplasty for a natural and symmetrical ear appearance

Otoplasty is a procedure in which modern surgical techniques are used to improve the shape, position, and symmetry of the ears, creating a more harmonious facial appearance. The goal of the procedure is a natural result that harmonizes with the individual's facial proportions. The incisions are hidden behind the ear, making the scars usually very inconspicuous after healing. The procedure is most often performed under local anesthesia. Modern otoplasty allows for predictable results, rapid recovery, and a significant improvement in self-confidence for both children and adults.

Preparation for surgery

Before the procedure, we will have a consultation where we assess the anatomy of your ears and determine the optimal technique. For children, we also involve parents in the entire process to ensure a safe and pleasant experience.

We recommend:

  • Avoiding medications that affect blood clotting
  • Preparation for a few days of rest after the procedure

Within the framework of the program Juventina Care 360° We can provide you with comprehensive preparation and rehabilitation programs, all products and services for fast and effective recovery, and the latest methods for faster post-operative regeneration.

Procedure steps

The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia, usually in the following steps:

A cut is made behind the ear (invisible after healing)
Cartilage is being reshaped
The ears move closer to the head and improve symmetry
Everything is fixed with hidden stitches
Finally, a protective bandage is applied, which stabilizes the ears in their new shape.

Modern techniques enable:

  • Accuracy and symmetry
  • Minimal tissue damage
  • Get well soon

Recovery and holistic support after surgery

After otoplasty, minor swelling, bruising, a feeling of tightness, and temporary ear sensitivity are typically present, which are a normal part of the healing process. Most patients notice the first positive changes after about two weeks, with the final shape of the ears gradually developing over several months post-procedure. An important part of recovery is wearing a compression band, which helps maintain the new position of the ears, reduces swelling, and protects the operated area during sleep and daily activities. The compression band is usually worn continuously for the first two weeks, then for a few more weeks at night and during sports activities. We also pay special attention to scar care, gradual return to physical activity, and individual patient support throughout the entire recovery process. The goal of our approach is safe healing, the most predictable outcome possible, and a natural-looking appearance of the ears that harmonizes with the face in the long term.

Important:

  • The first few days require rest
  • The larger bandage is removed at the first follow-up appointment.
  • Compression tape is crucial for proper healing

Most patients return to their usual activities within 7–21 days. With the program Juventina Care 360° we can take care of you throughout the entire process, thereby reducing your worries and ensuring a safe, guided, and optimal recovery.
